Travel: Best 'Quiet' beach in Italy?

Travel: Best "Quiet" beach in Italy?

Aaah! The Italian coastline. Plenty of warm sunny beaches in the Mediterranean and Adriatic Sea. Lounging on the beach with a glass of Frascati in Lazio, Verdicchio in Marche or Marsala in Sicily where I can sleep on the beach all day and all night long. Of course I will avoid the party laden area like Capri or most of mainland beach town.

Best "Quiet" beach in Italy?
  1. Bagni della Regina Giovanna (Campania) - The rocky slopes that surround Bagni della Regina Giovanna make reaching this beautiful spot a bit tricky, but the rock pools, turquoise water and archway that joins this lagoon to the sea make it well worth the effort.: 32.0%
  2. Other: 10.0%
  3. Laurito, Amalfi Coast (Campania) - Here you can stretch out on deck chairs and watch as the turquoise water laps at the dark sand and pebbles. Shuttle boats from Positano main jetty are a more popular option when it comes to reaching this secluded beach, just look for the boat with the red fish on the mast.: 9.0%
  4. Isola Bella (Sicily) - A secluded beach on a private islet, you can't really get much more 'secret' than that can you? Catch a boat from Sicily and spend the day snorkeling, swimming and sunbathing on one of the few undiscovered corners of Italy.: 9.0%
  5. Cala Luna (Sardinia) - To reach Cala Luna, follow the footpath from Cala Fuili or Balnei, but be warned, it's a strenuous hike, so if you're not up to it, then reaching the place by boat is a better option from Cala Gonone port.: 8.0%
  6. Dino Island, Praia a Mare (Calabria) - Approximately 100 m from the beach at Praia a Mare sits a rock called Dino Island. Here, you'll find hidden coves and impressive sea caves that are accessible by small craft or paddle boats. For adrenaline rushers, you can cliff jumping from the Arcomagno Rock, a 22 meters natural bridge over a hidden bay.: 6.0%
  7. Isola dei Conigli, Lampedusa (Agrigento) - Given its relative isolation, and its protected status as a sanctuary for loggerhead turtles, the island has escaped the rampant mainland tourism and offers stunning beaches for travelers.: 6.0%
  8. Macarro Beach (Basilicata) - A small beach overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea. Great place to enjoy swimming and snorkeling in the warm water. But be careful, to get to this black sand beach, you can only get there through a short hike down a steep path from the park.: 5.0%
  9. Spiaggia del Due Sorelle (Marche) - Spiaggia del Due Sorelle is only accessible by boat from Porto Numana and, as a result, remains refreshingly undeveloped. You won't find any food vendors or even shower facilities here, only the soaring limestone cliffs, silvery sand and the cool, translucent waters of the Adriatic.: 5.0%
  10. Spiaggia di Chiaia di Luna (Lazio) - The name comes from a narrow strip of sand at the base of a 100-metre volcanic cliff that shaped like a half moon. You'll need to catch a ferry from Anzio to Ponza, and cross the island via a half-kilometer tunnel that, thankfully, it's ended right on the beach. You won't find a better sunset vantage point than from its sandy, sheltered shore.: 3.0%
  11. Spiaggia di Caminia (Calabria) - Go the opposite direction towards its eastern Ionian coast where you can find a smattering of sleepy "secret" beaches with the same iridescent waters. Small and unspoiled pearly sand is hidden between two steep cliffs on the Gulf of Squillace. It has remained a local secret and virtually tourist-free.: 3.0%
  12. Punta Aderci (Abruzzo) - It's a natural reserve park where "trabocchi" or ramshackle wooden fishing platforms emerges like crazy sculptures from the sea. Lots of B&B runs by locals that serves the best traditional food.: 2.0%
  13. Isola Maddalena (Sardinia) - The entire Maddalena archipelago is a protected marine sanctuary. The regulations don't just protect the sea life, however; they also keep many of the islands' pristine beaches free of development and summer crowds.: 1.0%
  14. Spiaggia di Sansone (Livorno) - Located on Isola d'Elba where you can take a short ferry ride from the region's rolling hills and vineyards. It's backed by prickly Mediterranean shrub and limestone cliffs. Its peppered sand with smooth white pebbles beach coupled the Sansone's crystalline waters.: 1.0%

I heard that the holiday in Sardinia is really fantastic and no one usual tourist crowds. given that this is the Adriatic Sea, one of the most beautiful in the world, I have no doubt at all in local beauty. I heard that the people are good because we are all there, we Mediterraneans and similar characteristics.

I believe that of all offered the most beautiful beaches on this Calabria beach Praia de Mare. I've seen her photos and videos on Youtube. I visited so far. Otherwise I was in Italy several times, but never on vacation, but if you ever go, I'll go right to the beach!

Rock pools, Turquoise water and a secluded Lagoon, top it all with the Mediterranean sun. What more can you look for an Italian summer? I personally love lagoons, its the perfect beach for Introverts like me. It just feels more private but you still get the what a day in the beach can offer. Perfect.

Maybe I'm wrong but I was in Italy in Lido di Jesolo and I'm delighted with the avalanche, a large sandy beach that fascinated me and beautiful Adriatic Sea. I had the opportunity to see other places.

Beautiful island, this tiny portion of rocks at the center of the bay, is more like a collectible than a real island.
My dream would be to have there a hammock and just stare at the ocean. To be disturb by nothing. to let time pass and just admire and contemplate the peace in the air.

I know some people have a different opinion about beaches some of you might like a noisy or plenty of high class hotel or club med style accommodation. But for me the cleaner and more secluded beaches are my favorities in this world far away from the civilization!

I don't know the best to pick among them. Italy has been the home of romantic cuisines and places for years, even till today. I am very sure that their beaches will do a more stylish addition of their best foods and wines as well as games and few plays.
